The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for everyone and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011, Komen Dallas funded over $1,850,000 for local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects for the medically underserved in Dallas County. In addition to funding outreach, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have sent over $550,000 to the Organization for research in 2010. The Executive Director, Chris Packard, is available to answer any questions you may have about our grants process or grant application.
