Host an Event or Promotion
The Komen Dallas Affiliate is a grassroots organization that relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations who want to help in our mission. These individuals and organizations host events, activities and promotions throughout the year with proceeds benefiting the Komen Dallas Affiliate.
We are inspired by the outpouring of interest and support of the Dallas community and beyond. Countless individuals and organizations have organized their own events with unprecedented success. Whether it's hosting a luncheon, golf tournament, a fashion show or just donating a portion of proceeds from sales at your place of business, you can help save lives and end breast cancer.
Hosting an event is easy! Follow these three steps...
- Read through and print out our event Guidelines. These will help direct you in planning your event or promotion.
- If after reading the guidelines you are interested in entering into an agreement with the Komen Dallas Affiliate, please complete an Application and fax it to the Komen office at 214-750-7266 or email it to events@komen-dallas.org.
- Once you send in your application, please allow three business days for a reply. If your event is approved, you will have to sign a letter of agreement.
Please note, a minimum donation amount is required in return for use of the Komen Dallas Affiliate name and logo. If you decide that your event or promotion does not meet the requirements, please consider not using the Komen name/logo. You may use a general pink ribbon and make a general statement that the funds raised will go to breast cancer screening, treatment, education and research.
