Fundraising for the Komen Dallas Race for the Cure® is simple. Follow these steps to have the maximum success.

• Set a goal. It's true that 60% of people who set a goal meet or exceed their expectations! If you've never fundraised before, keep it simple and try to raise at least the value of one screening mammogram- $150.
• Upload your contacts into your participant center. It will make easy for you to send e-mails, keep track of who's reading your e-mails and who has made a donation.
• Personalize, personalize, personalize. We cannot stress this enough. When you personalize your personal fundraising page-it's more compelling and shows your passion for the cause.
• Don't just ask once, ask again and again and again. Another fact is that it takes seven "calls to action" for someone to take action.

Fundraising Rewards

Be rewarded for your fundraising efforts! Raise a minimum of $250 by Friday, November 11, 2011 and you'll be eligible to receive fundraising rewards. Take a peek at our fabulous fundraising rewards. These rewards make great gifts or prizes for your next Komen fundraiser.

Team Awards

Teams in each division (corporate, medical, spiritual, school or other) that raise the most money will receive an award at our annual Thank You Party in late January.  The respective team captain from each winning team will receive an invitation to attend the Thank You party.
