Komen Dallas County Events

Participate in or Host an Event

By participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® or another Komen event, you become part of a grassroots network that has changed the way the world talks about and treats breast cancer. There are many different ways to support Komen's mission. Komen events vary in size, format and location. However, they share our common goal - raising funds to create a world without breast cancer. All events have another element in common - hard working, dedicated and passionate supporters.

There are three types of Komen Dallas County events - Affiliate, 3^rd Party, and National events:

3rd Party Events are initiated and organized by individual and group supporters in the Dallas County area. They range from large, organized events like golf tournaments and luncheons to small personal fundraising gatherings like a bake sale or school fundraiser to cause-related marketing partnerships where a portion of the proceeds are donated directly to Komen Dallas County Affiliate. Current 3rd party events benefiting Komen Dallas

Affiliate Eventsinclude events such as the Komen Dallas Race for the Cure®, Impact Awards Luncheon, Caddyshack for the Cure-golf tournament and concert and many others. Some are fundraisers, some are just celebrations and appreciation events and others are mission related events. They are produced by Komen Dallas County Affiliate Staff and highly dedicated committees of volunteers.

National Events are initiated through Komen International Headquarters in Dallas. Learn more...
